With multiple outdoor experiences on offer, you can choose from a gentle paddle on the river or thrilling whitewater adventures. Each experience takes you deep into the heart of the Hutt Valley wilderness. You’ll get close to nature and see idyllic scenery.

If you want to turn up the adrenalin, you can head down the river in an inflatable kayak (Double Duckie). Or, explore the nearby Little Akatarawa River Canyon. You’ll travel through dark caves, jump off rocks and abseil down four waterfalls. You can also fly by helicopter into the stunning Tararua Range and paddle down the majestic Waiohine River.
