For super-fans and art appreciators alike, the exhibit houses over 60 original pieces of comic book history from some of the biggest names in the industry. Learn how Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko brought their original ideas to life between the panels and created history with their immersive storytelling. This exhibition hosts a large selection of artwork, comics, and pages that inspired a universe of characters and storytelling.

Marvel Comics #1

Looking for something truly rare? Marvel Comics #1  from 1939 is on display. This piece of history included the first appearance of Carl Burgos’ android Super Hero the Human Torch, and the first appearance of Bill Everett's anti-hero Namor the Sub-Mariner. Now famous for their portrayal on screen and more than their fair share of panels throughout history, a mint edition copy of this comic can go for over $1 million US.

Learn a little illustrated history

This exhibition is more than just comics, colouring, and props. You can dive into more than 80 years of Marvel history throughout the exhibition. Explore intricate panels telling the story of how a comic book company completely changed pop culture and played a hand in many significant moments from the last century. From the introduction of Captain America in World War II through to counterculture moments throughout the 60’s and 70’s, Marvel has been printing comics that reflect the world around it since the very beginning.

Want to truly capture a comic-worthy moment? Dotted throughout the exhibition you can find some larger-than-life sculptures to see how you square up against some of your favourite Super Heroes. You bring yourself, this exhibition brought a Hulk...
