Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812

A modern Broadway musical theatre masterpiece is making its New Zealand premiere. ‘Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812’ has been rocking the musical theatre world since 2012. 

Set in 19th century Russia the story is based on a scandalous slice of Tolstoy’s ‘War and Peace’. With an astronomical 12 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score, the Broadway sensation has been hailed by critics and audiences worldwide as ground-breaking. 

Presented by local group WITCH Musical Theatre, it features an all-Wellington team of singers and creatives. The daring score, inspired by folk, indie-rock and electro-pop, will be one of the musical highlights of the year.
