With a record eight sell-out home games in 2023, dedicated fans can once again bring their own energy and spark. The Saints have 10 home games at TSB Arena this season.
The Saints roster has the foundation of a long and athletic team with the signings of import Lat Mayen and local Yuat Alok.
Lat is known for his impressive stint in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) with the Cairns Taipans. He brings a wealth of experience and dynamic skills to the Saints’ roster. His 2-metre height, silky shooting, and athleticism offer a solution to problems on both sides of the court, and in centre.

Standing at 2.1m with an impressive wingspan, Yuat is not only a defensive force but also a reliable scoring option. He started with the New Zealand Breakers’ development squad and played college basketball in the United States. Most recently, he played in Croatia for Alkar.
The Saints’ 2021 championship-winning coach Zico Coronel returns for the team’s 40th season too. The six-time NZ NBL champion and the 2021 NZ NBL coach of the year has experience and a legacy of success to boot.
Dynamic scorer Rangimarie Dougall-Mita has re-signed, and Hyrum Harris brings his experience after making waves as a starter for the Perth Wildcats. Australian guard Ben Ayre injects a potent mix of talent, tenacity, and Aussie spirit into the Saints’ lineup.
This season’s league features two changes. An extra team has been added alongside a rapid league. This was launched successfully in the women’s Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa 2023 season.
