The multi-award-winning New Zealand comedian and self-proclaimed “People’s Princess of Aotearoa” is back in the capital in 2024.

His new show comes with a very long title — ‘Give Me One Good Reason Why I Shouldn’t Throw My Phone Off This Bridge’. Writing the show was motivated by seeing a sponsored post for ‘exercise shorts with a built-in jockstrap’. Chris felt he had finally reached his limit with social media.

Known for his funny Instagram and TikTok videos, Chris has a large following on social media. His work across multiple TV shows earned him a nomination for ‘Television Personality of the Year’ in 2021. In 2022 he was the recipient of the inaugural Topp Prize, awarded by the New Zealand Comedy Trust, for Aotearoa’s most generous and gifted comedian.
